Windborne provides primary flight training designed to take new pilots from zero time through commercial license. Our training is guided by the FAA’s Airman Certification Standards, but that’s only our starting point. We go beyond that to make all of the requirements and standards approachable and applicable to safe, practical flying. Each student pilot learns differently so we tailor our curriculum and lesson plans to each student’s individual needs in order to maximize their success as a pilot and value that they gain from training with us.

We’ve invested great care and maintenance into technically advanced training aircraft to support your flight training journey. Being a professional pilot means having the skills to take advantage of technological aids to situational awareness while also being competent in the certification standards.

Flight instructors learn from their flight instructors who learned from their flight instructor on back to the first aviators. The common thread is passion for safe, proficient, practical, uncomplicated aviation.
